We Just Pray is honored to announce that at this year’s Prayer Retreat & Conclave 2025, we will present Pastor Veronica Truell—Founder of Chi Rho Alpha Christian Sorority, Inc.—with the Deborah Community Development Award for distinguished achievement in cultivating community and developing leaders.

Rev. Veronica Truell currently serves as Senior Pastor of Remnant Christian Church in Norwood, Massachusetts. A woman of God who accepted Christ at just 14 years old, she has faithfully served in ministry for decades—teaching, training, encouraging, and preaching the Word wherever God leads. In addition to pastoring, she has dedicated over 18 years to affordable housing development, homebuyer education, and financial literacy, empowering individuals and strengthening communities.

Affectionately known as “Denyse” to her family and close friends, Pastor Truell is a visionary leader whose life reflects her favorite saying: “If I can help somebody as I pass along the way, then my living will not be in vain.”
