We Just Pray is Honored to Announce Minister Steven Abrams as the 2025 Centurion Award Honorees

We Just Pray is pleased to announce that at this year’s Prayer Retreat & Conclave 2025, Minister Steven Abrams will be recognized with the Centurion Award for Exemplary Ministry Leadership & Impact.

The Centurion Award honors leaders who, like the Roman centurion commended by Jesus (Matthew 8:5–13), demonstrate extraordinary faith, humility, and authority rooted in Christ. Recipients embody exemplary ministry leadership—modeling excellence, guiding others with integrity, and creating lasting Kingdom impact through both spiritual and practical service.

A proud Bostonian and U.S. Navy and Army Veteran, Minister Abrams has faithfully served God for over 38 years—as a husband, father, mentor, and associate minister at New Life Christian Church Ministries in Brockton, Massachusetts. He also serves as the NAACP Armed Services & Veterans Affairs Chairman and is a proud member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts, established in 1638.

Minister Abrams’ life of service reflects his unwavering commitment to God, family, community, and country, making him a fitting recipient of this year’s Centurion Award.
